The WNYDNUG was started by David Hockenberry and Mike Pawelek with a common goal of sharing .Net knowledge in the community.  Here is a brief bio and information on the current board members.

Dave Hockenberry - David is a graduate of SUNY Binghamton University with a B.S. in Computer Science.  He currently works for VertaSource as the Lead Software Engineer in Buffalo, NY. David has been working with .NET since 2003.  "My main goal with the WNY DNUG is to create a community of .NET developers that can learn and network together in the WNY region."

Mike Pawelek - Mike is a graduate of Canisius College with a B.S. in Management Information Systems.  Mike is working towards a Microsoft certification and expects to complete his remaining tests in the near future.  Mike was a early adopter in .NET, making the move move from classic ASP in 2000.  He currently works for AIX Group in Buffalo, NY as a Software Architect and Lead Programmer.
