For several years, I have been borrowing tech books from the Central Library, in downtown Buffalo. Central, is a one-stop shop for all books technical. A couple years ago, while there were lots of good books (culminating in CCIE potential)...the cutting-edge material was lacking. No longer is that true.
Some excellent subject to investigate include; Visual Studio 2008, SQL Server 2008, Visual Basic Databases 2008, ad infinitum. The other day, I stumbled across Adobe LiveCycle on my computer at work. I turned a PDF...into an entry form that collected the XML data from around our network. It was definately cool. So, I went to the Library to do some research and I asked for help. They didn't have any books on LiveCycle, but as a result of my request...it was ordered. It is the Acrobate and LiveCycle Bible, 2009.
Great resource, good times.
