Senior Application Support Analyst / C#
Our International client focusing in a variety of industries is seeking a strong and committed team player to add to their growing team. This is a contract position with the potential to go permanent in late of 2009.
On a day to day basis the qualifying candidate will be doing the following:
· Provide intensive technical and programming support for production systems.
· Provide expert-level troubleshooting to quickly resolve production problems, and then identify root causes and develop test, and deploy small-scale program fixes or work with key members of other teams to update process or other systems accordingly.
· Responsible for performing quality audits on processes and technology and making recommendations for improvements
· Draft proposals for improvements to process and methodology to increase supportability of applications and boost availability, supportability, performance and user experience
· Provide 24x7 on-call technical support for mission critical enterprise applications
QUALIFIED CANDIDATES MUSTHAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
· Superior troubleshooting and communication skills
· Extensive experience with building and supporting enterprise-scale computer applications
· A BA or BS degree in MIS, Computer Science or related field
· 6+ years of IT experience
· Minimum of 2 years experience with C# .NET development
· In depth working knowledge of TCP, HTTP, Networking, Firewalls, and configuring and troubleshooting Windows
· Experience with ITL, CMMI or other standard support methodologies is a plus!!
