Job Title: MIS Analyst/Developer
Location: Buffalo, NY
Direct-hire. Ideal candidate would perform complex insurance data analysis and integration in support of business operations:
- Perform SQL queries, plus work with internally developed ETL tools.
- Select and report financial and management information.
- Perform light software development tasks.
- Work closely with all departments and management, including Senior Management and external third party administrators and software vendors.
What experience you need to qualify for this position:
- 2-4 years experience with systems development, data analysis, or business operations.
- Property and casualty insurance experience preferred.
- Academic related programming experience and/or education in a variety of programming languages, including Visual basic, VB.NET, ASP.NET, C#.
- Client would also like some understanding of relational database concepts and operating systems experience with Microsoft SQL, Oracle and DB2
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Information Systems.
Starting Salary: based on experience.
