The .NET Developer delivers business value to clients by proposing and delivering solutions that are based on clients' current and future business operations. They are responsible for the planning, implementation, and quality of integrated technology solutions that generate client value.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

·         Proposes solutions based on business and technology goals. Considers client staffing, future needs and current investments in technology. Presents analysis, strategy, and architecture to clients and secures approvals.

·         Communicates business functions with clients and partners, including technical and design staff, project managers, business users, and management. Writes and presents proposals of business applications.

·         Develops broad knowledge of clients' IT environment in order to minimize cost of ownership, reduce complexity, and promote controls and standards. Researches commercial software and prototypes solutions.

·         Plans, optimizes and negotiates changes to scope and schedules with internal and external team members. Anticipates and mitigates obstacles.

·         Adopts and utilizes iterative and waterfall methodologies as needed or requested (Agile, Scrum, RUP, Earned Value, etc.)

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

·         Education: 4 year technical degree. Technical certifications recommended.

·         Experience: 5+ years experience in professional application development and technical team leadership in a client services environment.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements

·         Demonstrated technical leadership in the practice of:

o     Development and implementation of content management systems (e.g. Sitecore, Tridion)

o     Customization of COTS products on .NET and Open source (i.e. PHP or Python) Application Frameworks

o     Implementing enterprise search solutions

o     Development and implementation of solutions using Microsoft SharePoint and related technologies

o     Full lifecycle development of ASP.NET/C# solutions

o     Integration of multiple platforms using web services, XML, REST, AJAX and other integration technologies

o    Object oriented design and relational data modeling

o    Content migration, search indexing, and search engine optimization

o    System infrastructure and configuration management

o    Workflow and collaboration tools

·         Demonstrated ability to assess and optimize commercial software products and information infrastructure.

·         Effective presentation of technology solutions to clients. Strong verbal and written communications.

·         Successful use of project planning methodologies to deliver high quality launches that are on-time and on-budget.

·         Team leadership and high customer satisfaction.
